Adopt a Family for the Holidays

 

You help us serve with heart. Through the years, generous individuals, local businesses, and community partners have “adopted” families for the holidays, providing gifts for children and their household. Please join us in making their holidays bright!

In 2024...

124 donor groups or individual donors adopted 186 families

161 volunteers supported our pick-up and drop-off process and delivered gifts to families onsite

How to get involved

If you’d like to participate, helping a family is easy—either option below will help to support our adopted families and program. Please note that due to the popularity of this program, space is limited!

Option 1:
Sign up to shop for a family’s wish list

• Submit our online donor application (stay tuned) with information about yourself or your organization. We will use this information to match you with a family in need.
• After you have been matched with a family, you will receive an email from DesertMissionEvents@HonorHealth.com with information about your family and their “Wish List” to begin shopping.
• Please be prepared to drop off your gifts at our Desert Mission drop-off location during our program window. Your main contact will receive specific details and instructions closer to the event.

First-come, first-matched. Space is limited!

Option 2:
Support our program

Financial contributions to Desert Mission will be used to support our program to serve families in need. HonorHealth Desert Mission is a qualifying charitable organization. Visit the link below, and under “Designation,” simply select “Holiday Adopt-a-Family.”
