Desert Mission's 2024 Walk-up Turkey Distribution

7:00 AM until supplies last!
Walk-up takes place on N 4th Street outside of Desert Mission Food Bank (9229 N 4th St., Phoenix). ADA vehicles only, see below for pick-up details.

General guidelines

Limit 1 distribution per family. Must be present to receive.
No ID or intake required.
Please be sure to bring a cart, wagon, or extra set of hands for your grocery collection if needed. Groceries will include (1) frozen turkey and (1) very large bag consisting of 3 smaller bags.

Parking details for walk-up

N 4th Street will be closed to all traffic.
Desert Mission Food Bank parking lots closed to the public.
There are many open public parking lots nearby and ample street parking is available off 5th Street behind the food bank, as well as around the John C. Lincoln campus.

ADA vehicle-only drive-thru option

Limit 1 distribution per vehicle.

Entry for vehicles with ADA placard’s and/or MVD license plates (those without will not be allowed entrance) will be off N 3rd St and Hatcher across from the hospital parking garage. Security will only allow access to those with ADA accommodations.

Those qualified individuals will drive through the parking lot by following the staff/volunteer directions, receive their distribution, and depart the parking area South of the 9225 N 3rd St Building back onto N 3rd Street.

There will not be a need for individuals to depart their vehicles during this process.
Please be mindful of animals that may appear or seem vicious as our staff/volunteers will NOT hazard themselves in these cases.
Meals can be placed in the trunk or back seat of vehicles. If you wish your meal placed in the trunk, please open/”pop” the trunk as soon as you pull up to the distribution location.
